At Artists, Crafters, and Tradesmen (ACT) Insurance, we’re grateful for the freedoms we all have.
While celebrating our independence yesterday, I couldn’t help but reflect on the things I am grateful for here in the United States. I realized, during this reflection, that there was one freedom in particular I think so many of us don’t realize we have.
In breaking free of British rule, our founding fathers not only declared independence politically, but they also declared independence from many of the social, religious, and, yes, even artistic traditions of the “old world.”
I thought of how these freedoms could be summed up as a freedom from censorship. And that, of course, led me to think of you brave artists and crafters who do what you do by pushing boundaries or making statements about the world around you.
Thank you for being such an important part of the American culture and spirit. We hope you keep giving your all to the creative endeavors you pursue.
We hope the spirit of the Fourth of July stays with you throughout the next year.
